Frogster with FREE MMORPG and MMO Reviews is celebrating a European sneak preview ofTERA. Starting on February 4th 2012, players will be able to jump into the world of TERA and those who have a special access key will be able to experience the thrill of true action combat.
The sneak peek will run on Saturday and Sunday from 3PM CET to midnight on both days (4th-5th February). After the sneak peek has finished, accounts will be wiped in preparation for the closed beta tests. The first of five closed beta tests will start on the 17th of February and will continue every weekend until the 15th of April, with the open beta starting on the 19th.
From the 2nd of February players will also be able to pre-order TERA, either digitally or through their local retail store. A standard and collector’s edition version will be available. Pre-ordering TERA grants players access to every beta session before launch, and a whole range of other benefits.

Aeria Games, has released the opening cinematic for the Muris race, one of the three playable races in Lime Odyssey: The Chronicles of Orta, 3D MMORPG. Lime Odyssey is currently in production and will be published in North America by Aeria Games in 2012.
As the cinematic demonstrates, the Muris in Lime Odyssey are fun-loving, mischievous, and spread trouble wherever they go. However, they are good-natured about their tricks and are so charismatic that they prove difficult to dislike. The Muris are centralized around the town of Pripet in the Shimmering Island of East Orta from which they begin their journey. From a Star Bridge and Thistlebury Tea Garden to windmills and forests, this floating world features many surprises.

Ankama has unveiled its advance subscription deals for the online game WAKFU, including exclusive gifts and reduced prices. The studio has also presented the details of the different in-game functions available to subscribers and non-subscribers.
In preparation for the release of their online game, WAKFU, on the 29th February, Ankama has chosen a freemium business model which combines the free-to-play model with the subscription model. The free version of the game will include full access to two starting zones (Incarnam and the Island of Astrub), as well as the opportunity to explore the rest of the world in its entirety.
Advance subscriptions to the game (€15/$15/£12.5 for 3 months, €28/$28/£24 for 6 months, and €52/$52/£45 for 1 year) will be available at a reduced price until the 28th February and will begin automatically on the 29th February. Each of the three deals includes:
- A pet
- A Candy token (that temporarily boosts a characteristic)
-Several pieces of equipment selected at random from 5 elemental sets (Fire, Air, Earth, Water and Multi-elemental)

Infernum has announced the start date of the closed beta for its sandbox shooter, Brick-Force. Selected players will be able to experience the sandbox shooter starting February 28th. The open beta and official release of the online game will follow in the spring.

Hi-Rez Studios has announced the most significant update to date for Tribes: Ascend. The upcoming update will include additional class customization and a much more polished user interface that really showcases the sci-fi, high resolution graphics of Tribes: Ascend.Hi-Rez will be collapsing the total number of playable classes from 12 to 9, but adding the ability for players to unlock new weapons for each class and further customize their loadout. Three of the nine classes will be available right away so a new player will have access to a Light, Medium, and Heavy class in his or her first match.
Hanbitsoft and T3Fun’s has started the open beta test for its upcoming fantasy dungeon crawler Mythos Global. G4BOX Inc, has released a new update for its free-to-play military shooter, Cross Fire. The free update features the new Hero Mode X, which puts players in control of one of two new playable characters: the electricity-equipped alien “Xeno”, or the dual kukri-wielding Commando.
The Hero Mode X update also includes six new weapons: a Remington 870 shotgun, an RX4 Storm assault rifle, a tiger-striped AWM sniper rifle, a camo-skinned QBZ95, and an MG3 machine gun with an alternate gold-skin variant. These weapons are available via the in-game Store and Black Market. To mark the release of this exciting new mode, Z8Games will be hosting events through February 5th in which players can earn new weapons and items, just for playing. For current players, the update will download automatically upon launching Cross Fire.

Joymax, has released a major update for its first-person shooter World War II game, Karma Online: Prisoners of the Dead. The new update introduces a new gameplay mode, a comeback Soldiers’ Event, a Clan Championship and a Channel for Turkish Community.
In the new A.I. Helicopter mode, players are grouped into four-man units that must work across ten grueling rounds of frantic multiplayer mayhem. Each unit faces a pre-determined number of enemies that must be defeated in order to advance forward. In select rounds, players will also face off against a variety of bosses including the heavy-duty V5 Helicopter gunship.
Joymax will be running a Comeback Soldiers Event for all veteran players of KARMA from January 31st. All returning veteran players during the event period will be awarded with special in-game items. In addition the game has opened an exclusive channel to better cater to its expanding Turkish community. The new server aims to provide a better gaming environment for players both inside and outside of Turkey. Similar channels will be rolled out to local communities throughout 2012.

Gala Networks Europe and Gala-Net have announced more details about the next content expansion for Allods Online, Volume 5: Game of Gods, which will go live on the 15th February 2012 for all EU English and North American servers. This details sheds light on Bards, a new player archetype, new PvP battlegrounds and a challenging new raid, which brings mounted combat to raiding for the first time in Allods Online history.
The brand new Bard archetype is a support class that helps their party by performing powerful songs. These songs provide buffs and large augmentations to party stats such as increasing health and defence, boosting mana and energy regeneration and adding bonuses to damage. The PvP Battlegrounds is an all new PvP mode which allows players to engage in 12 vs 12 PvP combat up to 20 times a day, in a dedicated zone, from level 23 upwards. Players from either team can capture resources while battling each other for exclusive rewards. Dead City is the new raid area for high level characters. Players will have to raid through this visually stunning area and figure out the strategies to defeat the 13 new end-game bosses in 10 individual encounters.
