World of Tanks Announces Rubicon Update

World of Tanks - news

Wargaming has announced that at the end of October is going to launch Rubicon, a huge update for World of Tanks that introduces a new game mode, two new war-torn maps that will allow us to explore Berlin and Paris, as well as improvements to the tank customization system. In addition, accompanying this announcement Wargaming has published a new cinematic teaser thats presents us the main novelties of the update.

The new game mode, called Rampage, has two variants: Steel Hunt and Domination. In each variant there are different victory conditions and team setups that players can choose at will. Rampage also adds new game mechanics, such as respawns, garage battles, repair spots and capture the flag. Players can also try new skills that will enable them to launch artillery attacks and airstrikes. The update also adds a new PvE tutorial.

Rubicon not only implements a range of new gameplay mechanics but also acts as a strong foundation for the development of new features that our players want,” said Sergey Laptenok, Publishing Product Director for World of Tanks. “Listening to our community and presenting them new and exciting ways to play is always a driving factor in our design decisions.
