Perfect World Entertaintment has announced that 'Awakening', the sixteenth expansion of Forsaken World, will be launched officially on January 20. This expansion brings a new region called Ever Abyss, from where we can enter into the depths of the underworld, where we will find new enemies, 3 new bosses, new missions and new instances. This expansion will also increase the maximum level to 100.

Another new feature of 'Awakening' are the Elemental Relics, a new piece of equipment which can be fitted in a new gear slot to increase the attributes of our character; these relics can also be improved to make them more powerful.

"After launching a successful counterattack against the Storm Legion during Vengeance, Eyrda’s military forces push their way up the River Styx and encounter a magic seal that blocks their path. In order to continue their journey, they must help Ayrshi, the Rose Princess, who will grant them special light or dark awakening powers to break the seal."
