Gaijin Entertaintment has launched 'Royal Armour', a new update for War Thunder, which will add to the game three dozen British tanks in the coming weeks (currently has added 9 British tanks, 4 Premium and 5 regular), and brings with it the first two desert-themed maps of the game, Tunisia and El Alamein; it also adds the two first armoured cars of the game, the T172E2 and the AA Mk.II.

The update also adds other vehicles, such as the Mig-17, the most modern Soviet fighter in the game, three new Japanese fighters, the first American biplane and some English and German bombers.

Royal Armour also brings an interesting novelty: the daily events. Every day players can complete three of these events to earn War Bonds, which can be used in the store to buy boosters, boxes of supplies and other items.
