The second and final Closed Beta test of Black Desert Online in Europe and North America will begin on February 18th. Those who pre-order the Explorer’s or Conqueror’s package will be automatically entered in the Beta; those who don't will have apply for access in early February.

Daum Games has also revealed the launch of a free standalone character creator that will allow players to import characters for use in the final release and the Closed Beta test next month.

The publisher has launched a character creation event, "The Beast", encouraging players to create the ugliest character possible. It will run from January 26 to February 5, and will reward winners with amazing rewards, such as in-game pearls, t-shirts or Black Spirit figurines.
