Paladins Goes Into Closed Beta

Paladins - news

Hi-Rez Studios has announced that Paladins, its first person shooter /MOBA has started its closed beta! During the first phase of this closed beta Paladins’ servers will only be available from 18:00 to 06:00 CET, although they will try to make the game available 24 hours as soon as possible. The developers have also given permission to players so they can record videos and show the game in action.

Paladins is a game that combines the action of a multiplayer first person shooter with some MOBA mechanics and a progression system based on cards that we can use to customize the skills of our characters. Each champion is equipped with a specific weapon, which endows it with different skills and a very differentiated playstyle, in addition to a personal mount that they can use to move quickly through the battlefield.

Here's the trailer for the game's closed beta:

We’ve been giving gamers hands-on play time with Paladins at select events around the world since we unveiled it in August, and the response so far has been incredible,” said Hi-Rez Studios COO Todd Harris. “We’re excited to get the game out into the community so we can fine-tune it further into a truly spectacular multiplayer experience.
