Gogames has announced that they will launch the publish the english version of the free to play browser-based game as KanColle Online, also known in Japan with the name of Kantai Collection or KanColle. The wait will be very short, because the Alpha of this version of the game will start on January 28.

The game, originally released in 2013, has more than three million players in Japan, and has its own manga and even some novels. In the game we will be an Admiral in command of a "Fleet girl", a personified warship with the spirit of Japanese imperial World War II warships. Each "Fleet Girl" possesses amazing powers and our mission will be to lead them against the forces of the Abyssal fleet, whose objective is to destroy the world. Our Fleet Girls can be customized and gain experience to level up after battles.
