Guild Wars 2 presents the Charr race

NCsoft introduce this week a new race: the Charr, one of the five playable races in Guild wars 2.

The Charr has a violent society that is organized into multiple legions ruled by cunning and powerful leaders. The strength of a Charr depends on the strength of will of its leader. Only a particularly strong leader is able to bind multiple legions under his command.

Several generations ago, they massacred its own religious caste for their wrong worship to the Titans. Since that time, the Charr restored the old Legions, the seed of military of its culture. Turned away from false gods and adopted to wish the industry, creating big weapons and war machines deadly and ruthless as the Charr itself. They use any means at its disposal to crush your enemies either by ambushes, bombings or tooth and nail..

Victory is all that matters, by any means and at any price.

A Charr use any possible advantadge at its disposal to destroy their enemies. For them, an ambush is as honorable as a fight in the open field. They believe that victory is the only important thing in the world and fight to get it. Although they dont harbor the concept of mercy and do not spend much time with morality, they are protective to those who are in his legion. Included the most tyrannical leaders understand that their subordinates are useless if they are dead.

A belligerent character
The thundering sound of the progress of their war machine makes the lesser races tremble with fear. They are the Charr and winning is their birthright. Charr race was forged in the merciless nature of war. The frail and the idiots do not find place among the Charr.

Trained to be warriors

The Charr are trained from youth to become warriors. Their society is organized in War groups, four big companies and legions. The Legions Ash, Blood and Iron are allied with each other, while the treacherous and religious fanatics of the Flame Legion conspire against them all. Today, the conquered Ascalon is the home of the mighty Iron Legion, but even under the Charr goverment is still a nation at war.

The charr have never had a shortage of enemies and never have it any other way.
