Bigpoint has announced that its Hack & Slash ARPG, Drakensang Online, has reached more than 15 million of registered users and wants to celebrate it, hosting a huge 3 vs 3 PvP tournament scheduled to begin on march 18th.

To be eligible, players must qualify during the month of March by forming a 3-person team to collect battle points and make it into the rankings. Depending on the amount of points tallied, players can earn either bronze, silver, gold or platinum classification to have a shot at bringing home either €500, €1500, €3000 or €5000 in cash.

“We wanted to give our players action-packed PvP battles that are as entertaining as they are rewarding,” said Drakensang Online producer Bernd Beyreuther. “To this end, we have devoted an enormous amount of time and energy towards revamping the PvP feature to create exciting battles that will keep players entertained for hours on end. To celebrate the fruits of our efforts and to kick off the feature’s relaunch, we are holding the Dance of Blades event, where we will be giving away a bundle of cash prizes to the victors.”
