Ubisoft has released a new gameplay trailer of The Crew showcasing the different specs players are able to choose for their cars, each one resulting in its very own driving style. When going from major city to major city throughout the campaign, players will gather different specs and styles, which they can swap out to suit their play style and mission needs.
Each mission will have a different spec associated with it, which is where cooperation plays a large role. If just one person in your crew completes the mission, the whole group gets to move on. One could compare this to classes in any classic MMO.

These are the different specs:
Street Spec
A very versatile spec to move through the city, the one people are the most familiar with. Not recommended to go off-road.
Circuit Spec
The most technical type of car, for smooth tracks and speed. A spec players wouldn't want to take off-road.
Perf Spec
Perf spec is built for roads. A bit less agile than Street spec (lacks manoeuvrability) but much faster. This is the spec for those who want pure speed.
Dirt Spec
Perfect for fans of rally racing and exploration. Very efficient off-road but not very fast on-road or street.
Raid Spec
Completely off-road, more durable than the Dirt Spec, for those who like to explore and ride through the wild. It's all about freedom and getting the most out of the environment.
