Tribes: Ascend releases the Marksman update

Hi-Rez has just released The Marksman, the latest update for its free-to-play MMOFPS, Tribes: Ascend. The patch provides advances to the performance of various features whilst also including some fresh new additions.


The Marksman content update brings support for the Blitz game-mode on the Crossfire map, and brand new weapons for the Sentinel Class. Also included in the update are the new variants of the Spinfusor weapon for both the Soldier and the Pathfinder. Embrace the first full inheritance projectile weapon in the history of the four-game Tribes franchise: the “Blinksfusor”, which has proudly been named after one of the most prominent current Tribes: Ascend player: Blinks.
