Travian, the successful browser game developed and published by Munich-based Travian Games, is going to celebrate its ninth birthday in September. Players will have access to a special birthday world and may participate in a raffle of strictly limited Travian amulets.

Over the years, Travian has become one of the biggest browser games worldwide and even reached cult status. Since its launch in September 2004, the title has attracted an amazing amount of 125 million players, making Travian one of the internationally most popular and best known browser games.

In celebration of the game's birthday, the Travian developers have come up with something really special: "There will be a birthday world," Game-Director Eckart Foos explains. "The special thing is, apart from many other surprises, that there will be a prolonged settling in period, thus making the entrance into the game easier and establishing a balance between players with different experience levels. Also we will give away Travian gold for our birthday!"
