With ‘Nightmares in the Dream Palace’, The Secret World has just received its latest content update, which introduces a new storyline and takes players back to Tokyo where vast new areas await to be visited. Players will have to face off against ferocious new creatures and bosses.
"With each new update to The Secret World, we have introduced layer after layer of vast, deep secrets to the game," told Joel Bylos, Game Director on The Secret World. "In this update many of the greatest mysteries will be revealed, through some of the most unique visual storytelling we have ever done in The Secret World. The story continues and we are very excited about where it is heading!"
The hours of new content offered by ‘Nightmares in the Dream Palace’ culminate in a mission exploring the mind of John, the person who set off the bomb in Tokyo.
The update also introduces the AEGIS shields, Orochi technology that enhances defence against the creatures of Tokyo. There are three different types of shields which can also be healed by other players, giving new tactical options for difficult fights.
