Nosgoth ESL Series Starting in November

Nosgoth - news

Those of you who’ve already checked out Nosgoth will know about its extremely competitive nature. And due to this, Nosgoth is taking quite an expected step with announcing the Nosgoth Closed Beta Cup Series set to begin on November 9 in North America as well as Europe. Players may look forward to competitions on a weekly and monthly basis with prize pools for both.

"We believe Nosgoth offers a compelling competitive gaming experience and has the potential to be successful as an e-sports title, as such we’re making the tools to facilitate competitive gaming and are excited to see how this is received by the community," told Corey Davis, Game Director, Nosgoth.

Those of you who haven’t got access to the game’s CBT yet, don’t have to worry about that, for we’re actually hosting a CBT key giveaway at the moment. So go there to grab your code!

The latest update for Nosgoth also introduces other features that complement the competitive gaming. The private match functionality, for instance, allows players to organise matches with friends on dedicated servers, which they are able to specify match and map details for. For the very first time, private matches also support 5v5, which adds a whole new dimension of tactical gameplay to the battlefield.

Furthermore, X-fire support and NosCam, an in-game match recorder with camera controls allowing users to freely record, view and edit their matches, are included in the update as well.
