Might & Magic Heroes Online today receives its latest content update "Better, Stronger, Faster", which introduces the following 2 new features: artefact refinements and an all-new heroic mode. These new additions will enable players to enhance their heroes' stats with the help of new artefacts as well as obtaining specific rewards, including avatar portraits and pets.
With the new heroic mode, players will be able to attain the most powerful artefacts in the game. As opposed to being restricted to a single difficulty, players from level 30 onwards will now be able to increase the Heroic Tier of for each of their encounters; higher tiers will grant better rewards. Appart from artefacts, players have the chance to be rewarded with avatar portraits, the "Grimwolf Dye" or the "Soulstalker Cub" pet.
Heroic tiers have to be unlocked at the Heroic Forge where players have to trade in the new dragonsteel resource along with other resources they have collected. There is a variety of ways by which dragonsteel can be attained, e.g. Forgotten Sites dungeons or Heroic quests.
The artefact refinement feature will enable players to enhance their artefacts' stats. They may either decide for increasing the tactical, defensive or offensive stats or using the most powerful refinement form which enhances the entirety of stats of a particular artefact.
