Sony Online Entertainment has just announced the 10th DLC pack for DC Universe Online: Amazon Fury Part I is scheduled for release this spring and will introduce a new storyline featuring Wonder Woman, Circe, Hippolyta and the Amazons.

The queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta, is apperently going mad, allying herself with Circe and declaring war on the mortal world. Therefore, Wonder Woman, the queen's own daughter, has set up an army of Amazons to protect the people of Gotham City and try to bring her mother to her senses.

The newest expansion will allow players to play as either Wonder Woman or Circe in new Solo Iconic Visions in which they will relive crucial moments that led up to the Amazon civil war. The pack will also introduce Weapon Mastery abilities that grant players with greater flexibility and power through mastering multiple weapon types and seamlessly combining them during combat.

A new 4-player Alert and 2 new Duos will send players to the Themyscira Palace District, warehouses, and seaside port for the first time. The new shared open area will take place in an alternate phase of Gotham City called Gotham Under Siege, which is overwhelmed by the divided Amazons and their powerful allies.
