Webzen has released a brand new cinematic CGI trailer for Archlord 2, considered to be the upcoming spiritual successor to the original Archlord.
Set in a parallel universe after the fall of the first Archlord, Archlord 2 chronicles the never-ending conflict that tears apart the world of Chantra. The Archlord, an immortal champion of the gods, had sworn to protect their creation, but was corrupted by his own power and immortality. He eventually rose up against the gods themselves, becoming the "Lord of Chaos".
In an attempt to restore balance, the gods created a new champion and a new guardian species to oppose the forces of evil which finally defeated the Lord of Chaos and banished him and all evil into the Abyss. However, the fight wasn't fought for good as the Lord of Chaos plotted and schemed in the depths of his infernal prison while the Archlord and the new species started to settle the world of Chantra, establishing their own unique civilization.
