En Masse Entertainment has just announced the 1st major update to TERA since the expansion Fate of Arun, which will arrive on February 24. Focusing on group content, it will introduce the new Sky Cruiser Endeavor dungeon, the 5v5 PvP battleground Champions' Skyring mark V as well a new guild housing system in the form of Skycastles.
"There's never been a better time to join a guild, make new friends, or reconnect with old comrades in TERA," stated En Masse Entertainment Producer Patrick "Treeshark" Sun. "Guild housing is a much requested feature from our players and we're excited to reward our dedicated fan base with a castle in the sky they and their guild can call their own."
Floating among the clouds above the major cities, Skycastles will be the ultimate symbol of accomplishment and prestige and only available to the top-ranking guilds on each server. To earn their right to own such a guild house, guilds will have to participate in 2 new guild competitions going on throughout 4 weeks during which they will try to track guild points for clearing dungeons and taking part in guild vs. guild battles and battlegrounds. Skycastles will be fully customisable offering their owners the ability to personalise them to their liking.
February 24 will moreover see the introduction on a new hard mode for the Bathysmal Rise dungeon as airship Sky Cruiser Endeavor well an all-new instance onboard the airship Sky Cruiser Endeavor.
