Featuring an open-world environment, PvP and PvE combat, raid challenges and quests, Heroes of Rune uniquely blend MOBA gameplay with multiplayer RPG elements. What the title doesn’t include, in contrast to other competitors in the MOBA genre, is auto-spawning minions and lanes. Instead, players will be able to freely roam the environment as they collect gold and hunt for a variety of monsters in order to gain EXP. They will purchase upgrades be followed into combat by minions they personally spawned.

For their achievements within the game, players will be rewarded with Battle Points, which can be used to unlock extra game content, e.g. new playable heroes and their skins, while simultaneously increasing their rank on the leaderboard. There’s also the opportunity to purchase the in-game currency in order to unlock this content.
