Blizzard Entertainment has just communicated plans to start open beta testing of Heroes of the Storm on May 20, followed by the game's official release on June 2 with 7 dynamic battlegrounds to fight on and over 30 heroes to play as.

The company has moreover announced a live-streaming event to be held on June 1 in London, additional details on which will so be provided.
