Gaijin Unveils New MMO: Crossout

Crossout - news

With Crossout, Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment have just revealed their latest vehicle-combat MMO that transports players into a post-apocalyptic world devastated by an alien attack where they will be able to engage enemies in open PvP combat using their self-made and completely customisable armoured vehicles. The game is in pre-alpha at the moment, but a beta testing phase is supposed to begin in summer.

"Crossout is about customisation, the freedom to construct the most destructive vehicles to wage war against your enemies," stated Gaijin Entertainment's CEO Anton Yudintsev. "Trading, earning or purchasing parts and upgrades for vehicles, survivors can build the perfect fighting machine to their own preference, taking into account how each new addition affects the whole vehicle's performance."

Crossout will allow for full customisation, providing players with a multitude of options to create and design any sort of vehicle, from heavy off-road vehicles to swift buggies, of which they will be able to customise weapons, amour, support system, shape and cosmetic details.

Players will be able to equip their vehicles with a wide variety of weapons, including even flying drones and rocket launcher in addition to more regular machine guns, power drills and chainsaws.

"When destroying your enemy's gun with a precise shot and leaving him defenseless, that creates a lot of satisfaction," told Targem Games' CEO Stanislav Scorb. "And when you reach the enemy's base, crawling on the only two wheels left, that's even more exciting."
