First Live Championship of Summoner’s Legion

R2Games has just announced the 1st live championships in Summoner's Legion, which will take place from March 25 to March 28. Players will be able to earn cash prizes, with the winner taking $2,000 and a surprise reward, the 2nd and 3rd placed participant earning $1,000 and $500, respectively. All battles will be streamed with live commentary via the company's Twitch channel.

Players are able to qualify by participating in 1v1 duels until March 18, after which the top 16 ranked players in the Arena will automatically earn a spot in the tournament. In case someone is unable to participate, the next ranked player will replace that person. The Championship will be hosted on an exclusive server that provides competitors with all available cards to build their decks.

Rules of the event will require players to use a different class deck for each round of battles. All rounds except the Final will be best-of-5, with the first player to win 3 battles advancing to the next stage. The Final round will be best-of-7, and the first player to win 4 battles will be crowned Champion.
