Webzen has just communicated that their martial arts MMORPG Age of Wulin will receive its very first expansion in May 2014 which will be released simultaneously on the English, German and French servers. "Immortal Legends" will be one massive content update that combines two separate expansions previously called "Ultimate Scrolls" and "Legends of Mount Hua" in other regions.
The patch will allow players to demonstrate their Kung Fu skills in front of the whole server by taking part in the Mount Hua PvP Competition, during which they will have to fight their way to the top of the mountain, battling for the unique titles and outfits and legendary sword as the ultimate prize.
"Immortal Legends" will moreover introduce the Youyun Sixteen Prefectures, a brand new in-game event for up to 96 players at once. In this brutal battle for total domination, players of all levels will have to decide whether to fight as loyal soldiers for the Ming Dynasty or mercenaries for the Mongolian invaders.
And finally the upcoming expansion will also include The Martial Brothers Mentor System, allowing Kung Fu masters and combat veterans to receive benefits for taking new players by their hand to show them everything Age of Wulin has to offer.
