Red 5 Studios today officially launched their free-to-play Open World MMO Shooter Firefall, which, after a complete redesign, is now available in Europe, North America, and Australia for PC as a free-to-play title with optionally purchasable cosmetic and convenience upgrades.
"We designed Firefall to be our dream game, and now the team at Red 5 Studios is humbled and thrilled to see this dream become a reality with the launch of Firefall today," said James Macauley, CEO of Red 5 Studios. "Firefall is built from the ground up to be a true AAA MMO experience which allows players to explore a post-apocalyptic Earth through a well-narrated campaign and engage various threats through action-packed, skill-based combat."

Outfitted with customisable military-grade battleframes, players will collect resources and equipment and craft their own upgraded arsenal of weapons and abilities. In addition to the campaign missions, quests, and dynamic world events, they will also be able to challenge each other on a brand-new PvP continent.
For those who want a little more extra, two launch packs are available for purchase, which include such things as an exclusive multiplayer vehicle, the digital soundtrack and a concept art booklet.
