FIFA World Launches New Engine

EA Sports FIFA World - news

EA Sports FIFA World today launches a new gameplay engine, which provides players with major gameplay innovations, a new visual design and more than 1,000 gameplay animations.

Thanks to the new engine, players will be able to enjoy gameplay features fans of the FIFA franchise will be familiar with from previous titles: Attacking Intelligence, for instance, which enables team-mates to analyse the play in order to better position themselves and create a variety of attacking opportunities, or Complete Dribbling, which allows for increased creativity in attack by enabling players to utilise precise dribble touches while facing defenders.

The update moreover includes First Touch Control to enhance realism and variety in gameplay by eliminating near-perfect ball control as well as Tactical Free Kicks, which allows for positioning up to three attacking players over the ball, which provides additional passing options and dummy runs, and results in elaborate free kicks. The new gameplay features are complemented by the addition of more than 1,000 animations that help in keeping enthousiasts immersed in the action on the pitch.

"The new engine gives fans an even better, more realistic football experience while still keeping the game fun and accessible for fans around the world," told Line Producer Alex Grimbley. "And it all comes only six weeks after our New Season update, where we gave fans the ability to keep and use players from previous seasons in their current FIFA Ultimate Team squads, allowing fans even more possibilities when building their teams."

Players will moreover enjoy visual upgrades, particularly a new modernised look for the match presentation and UI. The match experience has been enhanced by the addition of commentary adopted from FIFA 15, and six new stadiums have been added, including Villa Park, Boleyn Ground (Upton Park), The KC Stadium and the Liberty Stadium. And finally, the game is now completely localised in Italian, with both interface and commentary, featuring Pierluigi Pardo and Stefano Nava.
