We’ve just had a glance at Orcs Must Die! Unchained, the lateste MOBA from Robot Entertainment which is in Alpha testing at the moment, in order to get a sneak peek of just what is on offer in the game.
The MMO allows players to select from a diverse array of playable heroes to try and make their way through the opponent’s defences placed on the map and help their waves of allied minions pass through the opposing team’s portal. At the same time, the opponent team is trying hard to achieve exactly the same. You are able to lay down traps, enhance your minions, purchase new minion types and customise your own hero’s loadout by acquiring new items and gear.
While recording our first look video, we had a testplay of "Smolder", a ranged fire mage capable of shooting off fireballs and bursting into flames in order to set her targets on fire. Watch the video to get to know how we held ourselves in our first team-based PvP battle!
