Star Conflict - news

With its latest content update, Star Conflict today receives a plethora of new content, including the new spaceship class of the Dreadnought, new locations, 2 new alien types (scouts and predators), 300 enhanced quests as well as 17 new maps available in PvE and PvP modes alike. Gaijin Entertainment also released a trailer in this context, which you may check out further below in order to see these new spaceships in action.

Ship of the Dreadnought class are of a gigantic size and have interstellar firepower, which provides space pilots with an enormous presence in battle. Despite of Dreadnought battles only being available for corporations, solo players also have the ability to engage in such a fight as a mercenary tasked with defending a corporation under attack.

"The introduction of the Dreadnought class with its sheer size and dominance creates an epic scenario for the intergalactic warfare that Star Conflict players crave," stated Stanislav Scorb, CEO of StarGem Inc. "The most powerful corporations have already started building their Dreadnoughts and are almost ready to join the battle, so wait no longer and start the construction of your Dreadnought now and take out the enemy."

There are 3 types of Dreadnought spaceships available to corporations:

Nemesis – a defensive ship built by Jericho techs which comes equipped with mighty shields capable of withstanding attacks for longer periods of time.

Liberator – the Federation’s Dreadnought equipped with strong attack drones capable of dealing considerable damage to the support fleet of the enemy Dreadnought.

Maelstrom - the Dreadnought model of the Imperial faction which possesses powerful weaponry able to deal increased damage to the enemy Dreadnought.

The construction process of a Dreadnought consists of 4 different stages: constructing a shipyard, putting together the skeleton, equipping it with an interstellar engine and eventually adding the weaponry. Each clan member will be required to gather Iridium, the most important element for the Dreadnought construction, as the process of constructing is extremely expensive. Once completed, Dreadnoughts can be further enhanced with extra elements and weapons to increase their capabilities.
