Dragon's Prophet, the free-to-play fantasy MMORPG from Sony and Infernum, has got a new content update bringing mounted combat into the game and dividing dragons into several categories.
Players can now engage in exciting PVE combat sitting on top of their dragons which enable them to fill out the traditional MMO roles of tanks, healers, and damage dealers. The specific role depends on the type of dragon the player is riding: Flying dragons, for example, grant group healing abilities to their riders while players riding a damage dealer dragon are able to improve the speed of attacks. And finally players on top of a more sturdy dragon are able to improve their survivability and tank the boss to their desired position by using taunts and other abilities.
The mounted combat added to PvE offers multiple ways to support your party during battle. Once you mount a dragon, it will take damage and bring some benefits to your group such as providing group buffs, protecting group members and healing them in a larger range than when unmounted.
