Perfect World has just communicated the official launch date of the 2nd expansion of Star Trek Online: Delta Rising is set to be available for play on October 14, introducing a new tier of ships, gear and officers while rising the level cap to 60. Set 32 years following the events of Star Trek: Voyager, this expansion will enable players to explore the dangerous unknowns of the Delta Quadrant via a portal discovered in the Dyson Sphere, which provides a shortcut to the galaxy region the U.S.S. Voyager mapped decades earlier.
