GD-Team has just announced the beginning of closed beta testing of their latest browser MMO RPG Wargems. Starting today, the CBT will run through April 26, rewarding each participant with a premium account for a whole month after the title's full launch.

The developing team describes their game as the ideological successor to Puzzle Quest series, which combines a stunning in-game world and a compelling story with a role system and a dynamic combat system based on match3 mechanics.

Wargems takes gamers to the world of Evergem, which is populated by perilous monsters, mechanics and sages belonging to one of the two races, Ghelts or Humans. While Ghelts hate the high arts of Magic and sue mechanical creatures and steam-powered vehicles instead, human beings dedicate their lives to magic. Both races strive to dictate new order to guide the new path for everyone.
