Perfect World has just communicated plans to hold the closed beta testing of their upcoming free-to-play martial arts MMORPG Swordsman from June 16 to June 27. They also promise exclusive in-game items to those who already register for participation in the test.

Set in the Wuxia inspired world created by Louis Cha in his successful novels, Swordsman will thrust players into a massive martial universe during the Ming Dynasty era, which they will explore as a member of one of the 10 martial arts schools. The awesome game world will come to life with the help of Perfect World's latest game engine, Angelica III.
