Chaos Heroes Online at Gamescom

Chaos Heroes Online - Exclusive - EN

During the GamesCom we visited the stand of Aeria Games to see what they are doing actually, as well as talking to them about their company which is under a huge restructure. Aeria has been acquired recently by ProSieben, and from now is going to be called Seven Games. They are carrying all their PC games to its Berlin office, although they will keep open the office of San Francisco for the North American market, as well as a South Korean office for licensing purposes.

The first thing that we speak with them was about the latest updates of their games. Aura Kingdom is now available in German, thus enabling that all updates reach simultaneously the three versions of the game (English, French and German). They have also planned launching the game in Spanish and Portuguese. On the other hand their football game, Goal One, is only available in German, but they want to bring it to other countries as soon as they get the permission of the football associations, since it currently only has the authorization of the Deutsch Football Association to use the logos and images of the teams in their League.

One of the biggest revelations of Aeria Games is that Chaos Heroes Online will be released in the Western markets. This game is a MOBA which is very popular in South Korea thanks to their fidelity to the roots of the original Warcraft Dota. The game will come to Europe very similar to the original Korean version.

The game is a hardcore MOBA meant for experienced and competitive players. Chaos Heroes offers several unusual features (although increasingly more common) as the possibility of improving the gear without having to return to base, teleport shrines for quick movement around maps and the ability to create new paths through the jungle.

Each battle have a heavy cap of 50minutes, where at the end of that time it will come down to who destroyed the most towers and got the most kills if the game hasn’t been won. The gear plays a vital role in the game, and the developers will focus on enabling players to create their own items and purchase consumables (something that will make using the game currency or the currency Premium paid).

The guys of Aeria Games announced us that in three or four weeks they will begin its closed beta, which will feature around 60 different characters, with more being added every few weeks, if all goes well. The game will feature a single multi-language server, and the company is looking to hire on an eSports Manager to really push out some European eSports with the title.
