Digital Extreme’s free-to-play sci-fi MMO Warframe today receives the comprehensive content update Archwing which takes players to a new world where new quests, new enemies, new weapons, a new reputation system, a new Warframe and more await.

One of the highlights of this update is the new game mode 'Archwing', in which players will be able to use unique new weapons and abilities when engaging in space combat without spacecraft thanks to the Archwing technology. New interlinked missions will enable them to unlock the new Archwing technology along with the new magician-like Warframe which allows players to wield exceptional powers including displacing enemies into other dimensions.
The update moreover introduces a new reputation system with 6 different syndicates players are able to represent and fight for in order to earn unique rewards as their reputation grows. They can also look forward to new weapons such as the Halikar, a jet-powered throwing mace that always returns to its master and the Opticor, a powerful new laser cannon.
Additionally, Arching adds new customisation options, including new Sigils, mods and colours as well as the new Huntsman Soma weapon skin. And finally, players will also be faced with new types of enemies equipped to fly in space
