Eutechnyx has announced that the latest car to be added its online racing game and car communityAuto Club Revolution, the MP4-12C. Hi-rez Studios has released a new preview for the upcoming patch of Tribes: Ascend. The update will include two new maps: The CTF map Tartarus is named after the shipwreck in the middle and it is comparable to the Katabatic map. Sony Online Entertainment LLC has announced today that the fourth downloadable content pack for DC Universe Online, named The Last Laugh, will be available in June for download. The Last Laugh will pit players against each other in high-intensity multiplayer brawls, feature an all-new weapon, and introduce new Light-Powered Legends PvP characters. The Last Laugh DLC pack will be accessible for free for the game’s Legendary members and available for purchase for Free and Premium player.
The Last Laugh will include an all-new weapon, hours of multiplayer gameplay in the Safe Houses and Headquarters, and new Legends PvP characters:
The Shield – Players can unleash this vicious new weapon to bash their opponents, or hurl it to take them down from a distance. Graviton Technology Recovery – Players will be tasked with unscrambling teleporter codes that The Joker has mixed into fragments. Located at the Watchtower or Hall of Doom, players must retrieve eight code fragments to successfully rebuild useable teleporter codes. The Rescue – Heroes must rescue hostages, while Villains will be freeing arrested criminals from opposing Safe Houses. Bomb Disposal – Thanks to The Joker, the encryption on the Email terminals has changed and can only be bypassed by the robot he provided. Players must gain control of the robot and either upload the data to their HQ or add new encryption to keep their enemies and The Joker away from it. Safe House Battles – No one is safe now that heroes and villains can invade each other’s Safe Houses in these four on four battles. Headquarter Battles – In this two-part crusade, 16 players – eight heroes and eight villains – will face off for the ultimate player reward. At the request of Superman, heroes must take over the Hall of Doom, while villains, egged on by The Joker, will breach the Watchtower in order to create chaos. Legends Characters – Combat illuminates with the introduction of the first light-powered Legends for multiplayer combat. Players will soon have access to Kilowog, a Green Lantern, and Amon Sur, a member of the Sinestro Corps.

Nexon Europe have announced today that from May this year, they will take on the free-to-play MMOFPS War Rock. This marks the fifth high-caliber license Nexon have acquired, and joins MapleStory, Combat Arms, Atlantica, Vindictus and Dekaron in its growing list of high quality free-to-play online game titles.
War Rock is a fast-paced FPS set within the fictional Republic of Derbaran during an intense nuclear war. Players fight against each other and they can choose to play as one of five branches: Military Engineer, Scout, Combatant, Heavy Weapons Unit and Medic. Each character has their own specialties that can be selected by the player. War Rock provides highly diverse combat throughout several different modes of play, including Close Quarters Combat, Hero Mode, Urban Ops, Battle Group and Zombie mode.

Square Enix Ltd. and Bigpoint have unveiled the first details on its innovative new online game platform, Gameglobe, that is going to be published by the two companies. Gameglobe is a unique browser-based experience that allows players free access to endless game worlds and creative possibilities, all in HD quality. Players can choose to either create their own game or simply play the multitude of levels available at launch.

Wargaming.net, has announced today that the update 7.3 is now available for its armored warfare MMO World of Tanks. The update 7.3 brings substitutions and additions to the line of Soviet heavy tanks, splitting the line into two branches. Leading the way through the redesigned tech tree, the update moves the IS-4 tank into tier 10 of its own heavyweight line with KV-4 and ST-I. The KV-3 has moved from tier 6 to tier 7, and freed the slot for another newcomer, T-150.
New gameplay elements introduced in the 7.3 include the addition of a new battle arena, the South Coast, and the first map set in Asia, the Dragon’s Ridge.
“These new machines should give players a taste for big and powerful heavies,” said World of Tanks Producer Mike Jivets. “With the help of the upcoming battle arenas, the game will get a fresh look from both a visual and tactical point of view.”

Wargaming.net, has introduced today the Heavy Fighters, the second of several rock-paper-scissors warplane classes that will take over the skies in its upcoming flight combat MMO, World of Warplanes.
Featuring such names as the Fw.57, Bf.110, Me.410 and Me.P.1102, heavy fighters are currently represented in the German line of warbirds, and will be gradually added to other national rosters. Their size, power and armament allow heavy fighters to fulfill a great variety of objectives including interception, head-on attacks and bombing, making them one of the most versatile classes of air forces.
“If you want speed and adrenaline, you will probably go for lighter fighters, whereas heavies provide greater firepower,” said World of Warplanes Project Manager, Alex Zezulin. “Knowing the strengths of your heavy fighter will give you the feel of devastating power under your total control.”
Outspark has released the first gameplay video preview of its future hack’n slash free high-action MMO, Dark Blood, due out this summer. The video presents the Warrior Berserker class as part of the Dark Blood Combat Training series that showcases the game’s classes, subclasses, bosses and dungeons

League of Legends has released the champion spotlight of the new champion Varus, the Arrow of Retribution. Varus is a ranged Attack Damage-focused champion who combines traditional AD carry gameplay with that of a caster.
Abilities:
- Living Vengeance (Passive): On kill or assist, Varus temporarily gains Attack Speed. This bonus is larger if the enemy is a champion.
- Piercing Arrow: Varus readies and then fires a powerful shot that gains extra range and damage the longer he spends preparing to fire.
- Blighted Quiver: Varus’ basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and apply Blight. Varus’ other abilities detonate Blight, dealing magic damage based on the target’s maximum health.
- Hail of Arrows: Varus fires a hail of arrows that deal physical damage and desecrate the ground. Desecrated ground slows enemies’ Movement Speed and reduces their healing and regeneration.
- Chain of Corruption (Ultimate): Varus flings out a tendril of corruption that immobilizes the first enemy champion hit and then spreads towards nearby uninfected champions, immobilizing them too on contact.

CCP Games has announced that its UK players are now able to pay £9.99 for their monthly EVE Online subscriptions in pounds sterling. This alternate payment method was introduced to accommodate requests by the UK Community to pay in British Pounds rather than in Euros, which results in an approximate 20% price reduction for them to access to the popular, sci-fi MMO.
With more than 400,000 global subscribers playing in the same universe, EVE Online is the only MMO to have grown every year in the past eight years since its launch. A recent, very popular UK EVE “meet-up” in London with members of the CCP team successfully demonstrated the strength, engagement and passion of the EVE community.
