Conquer Online for several years now has gone from an absolutely fantastic Action-RPG to a completely, off balanced, dismally managed pile of crap. There are a variety of classes which is fantastic, with a unique system of combat almost tailored to any character. The biggest issue is that the classes are not balanced at all. The hardest class to play is the Trojan class. The reason for this is that when using a blade or sword, you use skills called Fast Blade and Scent Sword which are ranged attacks. The problem is that it requires timing, fast reflexes and phenomenal hand-eye coordination. They have very little defense both physical and magic, and where as they use to have great health, it's about as much now as any other class. The strongest class is the fire taoist which is entirely right click based. Right click the target, guaranteed hit. This wouldn't be a huge issue if there was a delay per attack (there isn't, it's near instant damage), and a small amount of damage (I was killed in seconds by a fire taoist with worse gear than me and 15 levels under). Game mechanics are good, balance issues are bad.

Don't EVEN get me started on customer support. They put the money and effort into making a flashy and easily accessible Customer Support page... the vast majority of people who require help are never fully satisfied if at all at any point in time. Even people who support the game with real money are denied satisfaction.

The bugs are terrible too. They never fix them. Game bending bugs like using a poison blade with thunder, and having poison trigger for base melee damage? That was a bug. What'd they do? They held a frickin poll to see if people liked it or not but didn't make it blatantly public. Mass bulkers (people who spend over $1000 a month) had a bigger say in these matters, when this was clearly a bug, was announced as a bug, and suddenly it became a feature? Come on, TQ, get real.

TQ Digital Entertainment is a step away from being a total sham. The games are great, but gah damn I wish they were under better supervision. Where bugs were worked on and balance issues were rectified.
